The Riedell 965 Boot is one of Riedell's most distinct boot models. It features hand sorted, full grain leather uppers with heat moldable reinforcements on the outside quarter of the right boot. The interior liner is a perforated microfiber for supreme comfort and is treated to be odor and moisture resistant. The rolled collar cuts low at the Achilles for maximum mobility but retains support. The laces are protected by a removable overlay and the toe box is reinforced to provide extra protection and durability.
Comments: Awesome, high quality leather and hand made. They're packed with dense memory foam padding that feels wonderful. The interior of the boot feels like suede, although I believe it's microfiber. I followed the instructions on sizing and at first they felt quite tight on my feet. But after a few hours of skating they just seemed to mold perfectly to my foot shape (follow the directions on the website; do NOT just order your shoe size. They'll be WAY too big). They just "disappear" on my feet which is to say that I'm not aware of them while skating. They don't rub, they don't chafe and I don't have to keep re-tightening the laces... they just hold my foot exactly as they should for the whole 4 hours. And they feel like they'll last for a long time. My only criticism is that 72'' laces that come with the boot are not long enough to use all the eyelets. You REALLY need to get 96'' laces with these.
