Comments: I used to tie the laces of my skates together and carry them around my neck when not in use. Days in which I'm at school all day or in areas where I can't skate I would find myself with my skates always around my neck. I bought this bag so as to make carrying my skates on me a more practical idea. Seeing as there was not many reviews (I could only find 4) I went out on a limb buying the bag. So this review is for my peeps who find themselves in the same situation.  My first impression of this bag was pretty good. The material felt thin, but didn't necessarily feel cheap. I'm not a fan of the side pouches as I see no practical use for them. My skates (IL Capo Urban Skates) require the strap to be pulled all the way just for them to fit and can't fit my aggressive frames (as advertised on google images) within the pouches at the same time I'm carrying my skates. Other than the side pouches, every other pouch is well placed and convenient at the same time (besides the pouch on the stra
p, it's placed too high and is too thin for any real use). It did take some time finding out how to strap my skates to the bag. I found the most efficient, and reliable way is to have the skates facing towards your chest with the strap between the 2nd and 3rd wheel to alleviate stress and have the strap come across the side of the boot/cuff to help secure the skates. For now, I have not ran into any problems with the skate becoming undone, but have found the straps to loosen up. The bag overall is a rough looking black (not brown as some people may think) and just looks amazing in general. But but but, I didn't buy this bag just to look good. I bought this bag to carry my skates, binder, tools, and any other thing I would need when I'm out on a skate. I've had this bag for just over 4 days and I can proudly say I'm disappointed with the stitching. I usually skate an average of 10 miles each day to commute to school. Seeing as it was finals, I would carry a binder (1" with less than
150 pages) with a couple hex wrenches and a water bottle in the big pouch. Upon arriving at school I noticed that the stitching had come undone on the bottom of the bag creating a 2" hole. I didn't think too much of this, I thought maybe a weak spot that I would just need to sew back up myself. But that wasn't the case. When I arrived at my house that same day, the other side of the bag had given out and created another minor hole. I was pissed! A $60 bag shouldn't rip with less than 4 pounds in it. My previous bag was an Adidas sports bag (those cheap $10 bags you get at Big 5). This same bag was used throughout my years at high school. Only ripping this past month when I tried to carry 60 pounds of weights in it (stupid, I know). So seeing as I can't return the bag anymore, I must make the most of it. Don't get me wrong, the backpack is amazing. Maybe I was just unlucky and received a defective backpack but I would recommend checking out the stitching before you decide to use the
bag.

Comments: Bought this bag over a year ago. It has been very sturdy. I even used it to travel for several months all over South America (without skates though). Highly recommend it.

Comments: Being a college student that didn't want a bulky backpack to hold my skates, this was perfect. Modern design that doesn't compromise on the build (breathable cushion for back + straps are NOT flimsy and thin) like most rucksack-style backpacks now. The side-strapping that holds the skates are secure and easy to manage (holds my Twister 231's perfectly), although I'd recommend strapping them with the backs of your skates facing out with your backpack so that 1. Most of the weight (metal frames) are pulling down instead of out 2. You aren't rubbing your elbows against dirty wheels

Comments: Overall, the bag is great. Roomy and quality construction. The padding for the back is comfortable and relatively cool. However, a couple of things buyers should know. It says "metal buckles" and that is true, for two of the many buckles. The buckles that are brass colored are metal. The rest are standard plastic. Also, the skate straps on the side are good for inline skates, but are a bit tricky for quad skates. It is really designed for skates with a high cuff, so it may work for Antiks, but most quads will require some creative strapping if you don't want to worry about your skates falling out as you walk. Overall, worth the money, but just be aware that the buckles sound a lot more durable that will likely be and you'll have to get creative strapping in quads if you are using this for derby.
