Solid wrist guardsTop notch wrist guards. Pay close attention to sizing. They seem to run small. I had to return/reorder twice.

Had to come backI tried a different style, but they didn't protect my hands as well as these do. So, I went back to these.

Life saverThe wrist guards are pads are a must if you will be falling outside. I tried my skates outside for the first time and fell hard. My feet flew out from under me I was vertical in air and I came down with all of my weight on my wrist and then my elbow (I’m not young so when I fall I don’t get to just shake it off). Thankfully I was wearing my 187 killer wrist and elbow pads. I didn’t break, sprain, or even scrape anything!

Sizing is wrong, otherwise goodThe measurements are off on the sizing chart. My palm circumference is 7.5in, which puts me squarely in the XS size on the chart, but I could barely get the velcro straps to touch. So I am exchanging for a SM. Otherwise super cute and seem well-made, just order a size up!

Comments:Nice wrist guards, not big and bulky, and they look cool. I had my first fall in years and the guards performed flawlessly (Prior broken wrist was protected).

Comments:
I've been using these wrist guards for a couple of years and they have saved my wrists many times. The only downside is that the plastic insert is really slippery on the concrete so your hand just slips sometimes getting back up.
From:Andrew

Comments:I love these wrist guards, they offer great protection and are comfortable. When I wear these I know I don't have to worry about my weak wrists that have arthritis. I feel safe with these wrist guards.
From:Shalena, Evansville

Comments:These are comfortable and seem very well made. I'm a new skater and they seem like they'd do the job if I go down hard on the concrete.
From:Shoshana, Fort Collins

Comments: Just finished wearing through a set of these. I liked how the broad velcro straps make it easier to get to the appropriate tightness (my old ones were always too loose). The plastic palm bar helps encourage you to slide your hands when you go down, rather than stick and press all your weight into your wrist. I don't relieve believe any wrist guards will keep you from breaking your wrist in truly awful falls, but these seem to do a pretty decent job reducing the injury level of typical falls during training.

However, I did wear through them in about a month and a half. I skate almost every day and have been falling/sliding out a lot while learning how to powerslide / skate backwards etc. The wrap-around velcro strap showed signs of wear, but what eventually wore itself through was the plastic palm-guard, wearing out and cracking at the bend. I think I still really like these, but I'm a little disappointed they didn't last longer. Still, great value for the price, and might buy again after I try another brand for comparison.
