Bont 3PF 7050 Frames will mount to any brand boot using 2pt 195mm frame mount spacing. 7050 aluminum is heat treated and artificially aged to greatly increase the hardness of the metal for rigidity and power transfer. Bont used skater and computer-aided stress testing to ensure this frame withstands the demands of elite skaters month after month. The design philosophy of these frames is that a completely stiff frame is not better. A frame needs a slight amount of flex in various areas in order to help with turning and to prevent the frame from skipping at the end of a push. A slight amount of flex near the wheels adds grip at the end of your push. The 3PF is engineered toward providing that perfect amount of flex, with print that gives a very refined look.
Comments: I got this frame when I got a new package skate with the Bont Z boots. I previously had the Bont Jet with an S-Frame 7 frame on it. The response of the 3PF by comparison to the S-Frame is significant. The S-Frame 7 is very stiff, and doesn't feel like it adds anything to the push. The 3PF flexes and feels like it rebounds better into the push. It also feels like it corners better, but is still feels stiff for control on longer outdoor skate sessions. My skates are set up with the new 3 point 195mm mounting, and I am using all three mounts. I haven't played with only using two of the mount points. It doesn't seem like this would make a difference with a 3 point boot, though. Note that this frame does not work with the standard Bont 3 point mount, but only a 2 point 195mm or 3 point 195mm mounting. I like this frame a lot. It is light and responsive. Compared to my S-Frame 7, the 3PF is a better frame. From: Andrew
