The Bont Bearing Press is a quick and painless way to remove and install bearings in a fraction of the time it takes with other tools. It is highly recommended for any skater that frequently changes bearings and wheel sets. This press has thick 6061 aluminum and steel construction for maximum durability. Each press includes both 7mm and 8mm pins for installation of bearings into quad wheels up to 70mm in diameter.
The tolerance to fit 7mm bearings over the hook that removes them from wheels is extremely tight. We had the most success approaching the hook slowly and with the bearing's opening flush to the hook. If the bearing resists or gets seized, do not apply further force; carefully remove it from the hook and try again.
