The Ennui Shock Sleeve Elbow Gasket is a low profile gasket that slides on and offers substantial protection against both impacts and scrapes. Skaters who dislike or don't need the heavyweight protection offered by bigger, bulkier pads will love these gaskets! The sleeve itself is constructed from cotton and has no-slip strips inside that help secure the pad over the elbow joint. Shock-absorbing foam pads are coated in abrasion-resistant thermoplastic rubber (TPR), which gives these pads long-lasting durability. Shock Sleeves don't have a true hard cap, so they aren't legal in most roller derby rulesets, but they are fantastic for lower-impact disciplines.

Low profileI wanted THE lowest profile, less cumbersome elbow guards out there. They may not provide the best protection, but I'm not jumping off walls or sliding down rails, so these are more than enough for me. Bought them in 2021, still going strong in 2025.
