Overview

The Explore Escalade Wheels are good price point wheels to begin with but when at clearance pricing it is kind of a no brainer.  A great replacement for recreational skates looking for a minimal investment. Then, if/when wearing them down, it is inexpensive to get more!

Explore is a brand that could be found at big box stores like Big 5 Sporting Goods. They got out of the inline skating market, so we swooped in and grabbed some wheels at a helluva discount.  The profile is somewhere between round and bullet.

Pretty good for the money.I bought these on clearance to save some money and try out some softer wheels than what came on my FRs. I primarily do urban skating and thought these would wear out faster than the harder wheels I had. However, I've been pleasantly surprised they're holding up about the same. The only thing I've noticed grip-wise is I feel far more planted on smooth concrete but the black top doesn't actually feel much different. For the money, you can't beat it and if you buy 8 you still qualify for the bearing discount so you can also get some swiss bearings for $30 which is quite a steal.
