Jackson Vista Viper Nylon Skates are stylish and affordable recreational outdoor skates that feature a lightweight nylon plate. The Vista Boot is a sturdy high-top with a PVC outsole, built from suede microfiber and reinforced with leatherboard to enhance support, security, and durability. Memory foam padding around the ankle relieves pressure points, as does the foam-backed tongue that reduces lace bite and other forefoot discomfort. The fit is friendly and comfortable for first time skaters and long time rollers all the same! Underneath the Viper Nylon Plate is a set of Atom Pulse Wheels, soft enough to grip any outdoor surface and smooth enough to roll over debris and imperfections in your way.
Comments: I ordered the purple Vistas after my Impala skates detached from their heel. I wanted an upgrade from those beginner skates, but Moxis were out of my price range and Moonlight Rollers were always sold out. So, I did a lot of research and was excited to find that Jackson is an ice skate manufacturer in the same league as Edea and Riedell. I'm not a skate park skater and I'm barely an intermediate level street skater, so I went with this Nylon plate vs the Steel Alloy, because I wanted something lighter than my Impalas. So far I love it! I also love the bearings and Atom Pulse Lite wheels. I already had Atom Pulse wheels in the wider profile and I love that these Lite wheels are smaller, but still with the gummy texture. As far as fit goes, I measured my foot (248 mm) and chose size 7. I had realized by this time that my size 8 Impalas were way too big for me, as I had about 3/4 inch extra space at the end of my toe box. So with that knowledge and my foot measurements in hand, I chose size 7. In Womens shoe sizes, I am a size 7.5, so that has made it difficult in general to choose skate sizes. I was worried that my size 7 would be too small, but I also know that having a too big skate wasn't ideal either. Anyway, when my skates arrived, they felt really snug, and it took me a few days to get the lacing and fit right, and get used to the difference between my too-big Impalas and these. In the end, I'm glad I went with size 7, because my toes do have room to wiggle, and I feel really secure once I'm laced in. The lining of the skates is really soft and comfortable. I will say that the footbed is very hard, so I also added a Dr. Scholls arch support and that made them super comfortable! Lastly, the laces and the Bionic toe stopper are really high quality! I love being able to adjust the height of the toe stoppers, and the laces are really secure and thicker than my Impala laces were. Obvious upgrade. Comments: Like most folks - I was looking for the Moxi skates and they were sold out. There weren't many reviews out about the Jacksons, but I saw a few comments on reddit regarding the comfort of the skates and watched the few YouTube videos. Wow. I'm so happy I bought these. These boots are COMFORTABLE and sturdy and the wheels are like clouds. I'm so happy I went with these skates. They are a little more expensive than the Beach Bunnies or Ivy Jungle, but I still feel like these are a steal for the specs and quality. Comments: I wanted a suede boot since I have wider feet and I RECOMMEND I got my size like I would with regular shoes and there was no break in time needed so comfy. The only complaint I have is that there is absolutely no way I can remove my wheels to clean my bearings because the nut was put on SO tight I mean i have used the crab tool, the y3 tool and it is so tight I don't think I'll ever be able to change my wheels. Comments: I ordered this because I was frustrated with Moxi Beach Bunnies because I did not like the vinyl leather skates, the leather felt too tight and uncomfortable. Jackson Vista skates are softer and have made it easier to move around smoothly. I was able to finally learn skating backward! My size is 7.5 wide and I ordered 8, which was roomy so I wear a double pair of thick socks to make the skates tighter. Comments: I love my Jackson skates! When I really fell in love with roller skating I knew it was time to ditch the rentals. I did tons of research on what kind of skate I wanted and for what purposes. The Jackson vipers were the perfect indoor/outdoor skates that weren't made of vegan leather that can't be broken in, and weren't actual leather that isn't affordable. As soon as I put my skates on I knew it was a match made in heaven. 4 months later and I still have zero complaints about these skates. I've skated indoors, outdoors, parks, tennis courts and running tracks. They are amazing as a beginner skate and will allow you to advance through dance skating, learning tricks and just plain figuring out how to skate. Comments: I ordered the black Vista's Tuesday 6/15 and received them Friday 6/18! As soon as I got them I took them out of the box and laced them up. The laces aren't waxed sadly, but they're decent quality! I had my husband loosen my trucks a few turns and Iâd skate and see how it felt, loosen a bit more, skate see how it felt. I loosened them up all the way!! I feel like with the bigger outdoor wheels I needed more maneuverability, but Iâm also not a new skater. I lived on my skates as a kid and I'm back on skates after about 13 years. These skates feel to be amazing quality. The microfiber suede is a lovely and soft, the boot is stiff but soft and very well padded. I have skinny ankles and bony feet and these boots already feel like they're molding to my feet! My ankles feel super supported and strong and that's so important for me. The plates are lightweight but feel very rigid and sturdy underneath my feet. I love the outdoor atom pulse lite wheels that come on these and I plan to keep them unless I need to switch for a harder wheel like when I'm at the skate park. All hardware looks great upon inspection, all nuts where able to be loosened/tightened with ease. I skated in them for about 8 hours yesterday and they felt amazing then entire time. My toes are a bit sore but that's only because I was using my toe stops a ton spinning and sliding around. All in all I rate these a 5/5 so far, they have checked every one of my boxes. I want to add that I searched the internet for weeks agonizing over which skates to choose. I like many others fantasized of Moxi Lolly's, but who can find them in stock and I'm not paying scalper prices on eBay. These skates checked off more boxes for me than anything by Chaya, Moonlight roller, or Sure-Grip. They had everything I was looking for in an intermediate outdoor roller skate and they have lived up to their claims.
