Moxi Jack 2 Boots are the stiffest and most supportive boots that Moxi's ever released. The Jack 2 was built using modern materials and strengthened reinforcements so that it can withstand the stresses of even the most extreme park and street skating. They basically have a built-in ankle brace that is heat moldable on the sides of the boot, around the heel cup, and further reinforcements on the toe box for additional durability. They have a break-in period of about 20 hours which can be sped up using heat molding methods but once they are molded to your feet they will feel and react incredibly. Their support will help to stabilize the ankles, improve balance, boost confidence, and expand your repertoire of tricks. Since there is an ankle brace in there it can also help with injury prevention and with heavy impacts from jumping, flipping, or just shredding too hard in general.
The Jack 2 is as comfortable as it is supportive, with suede (or Vegan microfiber) uppers that are double-backed with dual-density padding and open-cell foam for long-lasting bliss. The genuine Shearling tongue is the stuff dreams are made of, and it's held securely in place with a lace-around tongue stabilizer on the front. Accents include a signature "M" black backstay with a finger loop, triple reinforced eyestays, nickel-plated lace hooks, and 90" black polyester laces.
The Vegan Jack 2 is crazy strong and even though they are made of synthetic polyurethane microfiber, they feel and look like leather. To make the boots water-resistant and abrasion-resistant they pressed liquid into the microfibers with a knife. They are both strong and flexible no matter the temperature with high tear and tensile strength. They will resist peeling, yellowing, alkaline, acid, and UV rays so that they will not peel. They have a different feel than the leather version so if you are a seasoned Jack user and you'd like to experiment with new material, the vegan Jack 2 is an excellent choice!
