The Powerslide Frame Control Inserts (or Wedges) adjust the angle of the frame in how it mounts to the boot. These are another helper that will change dynamics in conjunction with front to back or side to side frame adjustments. The wedges go between the boot and the frame to help create a longer push, prevent ankle roll (pronation or supination), or just offset bad foot position to create better comfort. **They have pins to mount most easily with Powerslide frames, but they easily grind off for use with any brand. **2PT MOUNT FRAMESPowerslide Pitch Control Inserts are to be placed under your heel and/or ball of the foot. If you want to avoid shin pain problems or get a little more heel lift to help with forward lean, simply place one under your heel.
Powerslide Stride Control Inserts are to be placed under the heel and/or ball of the foot. The wedges can correct ankle roll (pronation or supination), bettering your skating position and comfort level. If ankles want to roll in, place the large end of the wedge on the inside of the frame for more support (or vice versa). TRINITY FRAMESTrinity Stride Control Inserts are little plastic wedges to be placed under the heel and ball of your foot between the boot and trinity mount frame. The smaller ones are to be used in the front, and the larger in the rear. Trinity Pitch Control Inserts are little plastic wedges to be placed under the heel and ball of your foot (4 small and two larger). between the boot and trinity mount frame. The smaller ones are to be used in the front, and the larger in the rear. This can help avoid shin pain, or help with forward lean (place under heel).
Wedges have pins that line up with Powerslide frames, but they are easily filed off to flatten for use with any brand.
Comments: I find that as I get tired my left foot tends to roll outside, even with the Trinity frame adjustment. The Stride wedges are a big help. As a bonus they come packaged with a complete set of frame screws with Torx heads. From: John, San Fransisco, CA, 11/4/20
