The REKD Energy Covert Shin Impact Guards are stretchy and made with special foam and padding to take on energy from impacts so that your shins don't have to. REKD offers a long, but the short found here stay out of they way of skate's tongue and cuff better.
REKD Energy Foam disperses 75% more impact than standard high-density foam with a molecular structure that is soft and flexible. The molecules in the REKD Energy material hardens to a solid structure upon impact so that the energy is dampened and dispersed. The sleeve slips onto your calves with 4-way stretch that fits nicely. The shins have heat-stamped EVA foam over the REKD Energy foam to create a defined shape. The inner shin is made of a neoprene material that reduces pad slippage with a rubber gripper.
