Overview

The Razors Shift Broom Skates are ready to sweep you off your feet. They have a great look with purple FLT4 Frames that feature the IFC (Instant Frame Change) System, allowing for push-button removal of the replaceable slider plate so that you can remove the frame while it is still attached to the soul frame without any tools. This makes it easier for people that like to change their wheel setup more often, additional soul frames are sold separately.

They have a replaceable and removable Reign AB liner that laces all the way up and looks super cool on its own. Inside there are arch-supporting footbeds as well as a Shift heel pad for harsh landings and overall comfort. They also have aluminum cuff buckles and lacing for a comfy and secure closure. They also come with a full flat set of Ground Control CM wheels which have a 99A hardness and 60mm in height.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit.
Order large if near the cusp of the next size.
Shell Sizes are (width/length in millimeters):

At first glanceI’ll start by saying that I did not skate these. I have a size 13 (US) / 30 cm foot and although I got the size 13 skates the Razors were simply not big enough. That said I compared these with a couple of other skates that I tried at the same time. They were well built and a solid contender. If they had fit I still would have paid the upgrade cost from the standard Razors Cult. It just felt like a better skate. I also, liked the fact that they come with a flat set up but still have plenty of room for grinding between the wheels. The soul plate is a little narrower towards the front and on the inside than say the Rollerblade SKs but still leaves ample room. They felt really solid and although they didn’t have the strap of the Rollerblade SK or FR UFRs they have quality laces and get the job done. The main pinch point for me occurred around the start of the laces. The shell of the boot just tapered too quickly for me. That said I do have a slightly wide foot. I think the FR UFRs or Rollerblade SKs would have been better for wide feet if the sizes went higher and accommodated mine. I ended up with the Echo Verve which are super solid as well and came as close as possible to fitting. Although they were a little small too. The Echos ended up being better because they don’t start to taper towards the toe as quickly as the Razors.

Razors Broom’sRazors have been the best skate out since the ’90s, I’m an old timer, back rolling after 15 years now that my kids are riding, I rode Cults for my last 5 years or so, and decided to stick with what I know, Andrew Broom’s Shifts are better than I remember, easy to pick with guys like him and the legend Jeph Howard riding them as well. 10/10, Razors have always been at the front of pack.
