Hit a bullseye with Riedell Dart Skates! The Dart boot is just like a padded sneaker and so it's very comfortable for new skaters who are just making that transition into skates for the first time. The plate it is attached to is a PowerDyne Marvel, a cast aluminum plate that is quite strong and also has aluminum trucks and high rebound urethane cushions. The Dart wheels are color-matched to each boot for a few extra style points, and these wheels offer a lot of speed and stability because they are tall (62mm) and wide (43mm), with a 93A hardness that offers a lot of grip because of the large contact patch these wheels have. Dart Skates are very popular for first-time derby players, rink rats, and casual skaters.
Comments: I have a pair of purple Darts for recreational skating (since I don't want to destroy my roller derby skates i the streets) and they're okay. Not the most amazing skates ever, but they have lots of padding, and they're pretty. They work fine for roller derby in the first stages, but it's important to know that it's a beginner skate, they won't last forever or give you the best performance. Still, they're great when starting to learn how to skate on quads. I recommend Darts for those freshies that can't afford R3s over Volt skates, since they have full-aluminium trucks (Volts have plastic trucks that tend to deviate). From: Anna, Uruguay
Comments: I got these for my birthday and they are my first pair of skates and I absolutely love them!!! They are so comfy!! They glide so well! I've been practicing with them for a while now. I'm not sure if they are outdoor skates, but for indoor they work very well! The shipping was also very fast! The service has been great! If you're a beginner I'd highly recommend these! Very comfortable! From: Deanna, California, 4/30/21
