Roces Fifth Element Team Buio Skates. Environmentally conscious skates! Made almost entirely from recycled materials so that you can say you are doing your part while shredding it at the park (shell and cuff are 97% from recycled PU, plates are 97% from recycled PA, frames are 97% from recycled PA + Glass Fiber, anti-rocker wheels are 97% from recycled PVC and the liner padding is 100% recycled polyurethane). The BUIO (pronounced be-yu-oy) means darkness or without light, and it is definitely dark and mysterious. Made in Italy, it comes with 60mm 93A HQ compound wheels (anti-rocker setup), ABEC5 bearings, rocker washers and aluminum spacers. Max wheel size 60mm if riding flat. Fifth Element boots are close to the ones from way back, but with wider soulplates and UFS mounting. The shell is wider than the narrow fitting M12, opening Roces up to a whole new fan base. They are made up to size US10.5 only (if swapping out with a thinner Intuition or MyFit Liner, you can get a US11-12 foot in there). No brake.
Power-Focused Playing StyleThis style suits players who thrive on generation strong, top end speed through longer and forceful strides. They come with a stiffer boot that efficiently transfers energy into the rink for maximum power with every stride.
Acceleration-Focused Playing StyleFor players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.
