Overview

The Rollerblade Flow Frames are progressive rockered to allow skaters to carve and create dynamic lines and artistic style. A great choice for wizard skating and/or urban freestylers. Turning flows and feels fluid even at 5x80mm.

The Rollerblade Flow Frame has a low center of gravity that every day skaters can cruise on and enjoy, but this frame is priced and engineered for those skaters wanting freedom of movement.  Technical maneuvers are the focus with a progressive natural rocker (no adjusting of axles) that makes 5-wheel skating easier with a subtle, gentle curve. The rocker places skaters on two wheels at any time with the middle wheel being the lowest and the outside wheels getting progressively higher (banana rocker).  The Flow Frame mounts to both 165mm and 195mm boots with a max wheel size of 80mm. It is 12.8" (326mm) from axle to axle and included are one-piece 8mm racing axles(10) and frame mounting bolts (4).

Worth tryingI've always been stability challenged so I compensate with larger frames. However that means I give up some maneuverability. I bought these frames to try a rockered setup for the first time. I love the fact that I can setup the frame farther back on the boot which gives me more rearward stability. With this frame I can skate on the middle and back 2 wheels or the middle and front 2 wheels at any given time. They turn effortlessly but still have a long frame for stability. The feeling of skating with these frames is more like using a hockey skate. One unexpected aspect is when going over uneven sidewalk joints, having the front wheels slightly higher makes the transition less abrupt. I don't think these will make me give up my 3 wheel and 4 wheel frames but I do like skating them. Now if they will just start selling bearings in 20 packs and wheels in 10 packs.
