Overview

Rollerblade Maxxum 125 3WD Skates are packaged for speed with large 125mm wheels. The Maxxum boots have lowers like the Twister, with cutouts for some ventilation and cuffs that allow more range in motion to be better when skating for fitness and cross-training activities.

The redesigned boot features a mold that is lighter in weight, better ventilated, and with more comfort. Footboard Sizers make sizing easy with each shell able to cover a full size (i.e. 9.0-9.5).  Skate Liner Plus with Performance Skate Insoles (removable) with a padded design have an anatomical, comfortable fit. Perforated mesh in the forefoot is breathable, and lycra in the toe area ensure comfort. The Comfort Flex Tongue has wings with reinforced median bars that wrap around the shin to improve support when flexing front to back, fit and control. Micro-adjustable buckles are used both at the cuff and 45-degree powerstrap positions with extruded aluminum frames (removable - adjustable) providing strength and energy transfer. Rollerblade Hydrogen 125mm Wheels with TwinCam ILQ9 Bearings, a shock absorber under the heel, and a brake in the box.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit.

Easy and comfortableNice easy roll and comfortable supportive boots.

Cheap feelingBoot design and material feels cheap. Boot ankle insert keeps getting loose. Making the boot feel loose and uneven. Over all it feels like a cheap skate for the price.

Great re-entry to rollerbladingThese skates are solid in structure and performance overall. I docked a star because the tightening system is outdated. BOA is my preferred standard. The ladders on these type of builds strip too easily. I also considered that the tongue has odd stitching that doesn’t without proper care wants to fold in and creates immense discomfort on the shin/ankle. Otherwise, these are great value. The wheels themselves would run 120-150$. These bad boys glide and fit well. I wear a street shoe 12 and got the 12s here. I would consider half sizing down, as I full size down for many other sport fits, but these are right on the line and I may have regretted it. Decide for yourself where your true shoe size leans!

Tall bladesI was able to purchase my Maxxum online thanks to the great support my customer support rep gave me. This is a big change for me as the wheel height changed my center of gravity and I’ve had to really get used to them. I was on an old pair of blades, Aeroblades, with smaller diameter wheels, and the wheel height really changed my abilities. I’ve had to relearn how to skate and strengthen my ankles.

They are smooth like a criminal…At first when I received them I was a bit afraid of riding out alone. I’m a good experienced rider and the size up from 90mm to 125mm, well it was a huge jump. Love them but the need to be heated, molded and broken in correctly. At first you will hate them but having a good shop that could heat and mold them to your spec. To me they are worth more than $800+. I have custom skates and for the money these work!!!!

Best roller blade Ive ownedTruly a marvel to skate on. The huge wheels give you tons of glide and surface area to push off, but with only 3 wheels are 25% lighter than other 4-wheeled 125s, so it feels like you're running on air. I've never felt such control, ankle support and lightness. It's like running at superspeed!

Fast and SupportiveI am amazed at how smooth these skates are. They pick up speed so easily. They are also very supportive, though this added support means my feet sweat more. I like to ski and want to act as a trainer during the summer. I was not disappointed. I usually wear an 11 in Merrell and Rockports. An 11-11.5 was perfect. The 10-10.5 were just a tad too snug. I bought some Thorlos padded running socks to help with the hard insole. This setup is very comfortable and so much fun.

These skates want you to GOI've done 50 miles in them and it hasn't even been a week yet. They are super FAST without trying. Just make sure you break EXTRA early and don't go into turns blindly and you'll be good.

Great skateI owned 5 pairs of inline skates over the years. 1 unknown form Sports Authority, 1 CCM, 2 Rollerblades, and 1 K2. These are by far the BEST I've skated on. I find them very comfortable and supportive. Crossovers: no problem. They're 125s and they're fast so you have to keep that in mind in congested areas, like downtowns, parks, or paved paths. Inline Warehouse is now my go-to place for gear. I bought my skates just before Christmas and was surprised to get them so quickly. Plus, they even provide a free return in case you are not satisfied (check their web site for details).

Intense urban blading speedI'm an Urban blader who's transferred out to the mildly rolling hills in the suburbs and these skates do both city and all-out distance and speed really well. I still haven't mastered the slides I could easily do on my older smaller wheeled blades but will get there at some point. These blades have fantastic support to make you feel comfortable in larger 125mm wheels, so don't sweat that decision at all. And the 125s cruise fast and smooth over the rougher pavement while holding the hardest of turns...they look super cool too.
