The Rollerblade Maxxum XT Men's Skates are versatile enough to skate urban and for fitness, with fast but agile 90mm wheels. The Maxxum boots have lowers like the Twister, with cutouts for some ventilation and cuffs that allow for more range in motion. They are popular among off-season skiers participating in Rollerblade's "Skate to Ski" program. Modified hard boots are lightweight, vented, durable, and give great lateral support. Inside the box are footboard sizers. Placing under the footbed inside the liner allows for size adjustment from half to full size. This ensures proper fit and makes it easier to get the correct size. Or, if having two different sized feet like me, you can use in one skate and not the other. Skate Liner Plus Liners (removable) with Performance Insoles feel excellent. They have an anatomical fit and perforated mesh in the forefoot for breathability, and lycra in the toe area for added comfort. The tongue has a hard piece facing toward the laces (Comfort Flex Tongue) with wings and median bars that help prevent any lace bite, but mainly work to wrap the shin for improved flex and support front to back, improving both fit and control. For closures, micro-adjustable buckles are used at both the cuff and 45-degree power strap positions. Extruded aluminum frames (removable - adjustable) provide strength for efficient energy transfer, and they are housed with quality Hydrogen SE 90mm 85A Wheels andTwinCam ILQ7-Plus Bearing (brake attached).
