Unlike other soft-foam liners, S1 Rad Liners serve a dual purpose as both a comfortable sizing liner and an additional layer of impact protection. Rigid shock absorbing foam underneath the soft, terry cloth lining does the same thing as the Fusion Foam in the Lifer shells...it reduces, absorbs, and disperses energy from impacts so that Lfiers can protect better than ever before!
Sizing: The rigid foam in RAD liners does not compress as much as S1's other sizing liners. Many skaters choose to go up one size from what they normally wear. For example, if you are snug in a Medium Lifer, we recommend choosing a Large RAD Liner.
