The Sherwood T20 ABS Hockey Blades are an ideal choice for all kinds of outdoor surfaces. Most traditional wood blades will disintegrate when used outdoors but this T20 blade has a durable ABS core that will last on asphalt and concrete. The multi-directional layering of fiberglass ensures a tough and rigid feel from heel to toe providing an accurate shot release.
Comments: Reading other reviews about this blade makes me wonder how those skaters are shooting or installing the blade. I use ONLY this model and have a very heavy shot. I use an old school graphite Innovative (Blue) shaft with 100 flex. I play defense and blast shots all day with this blade. During warm-ups, I stand in front of the net deflecting shots and it holds up there too. I play both roller and ice and this stick holds up for MONTHS of weekly skates on both surfaces equally well. When they do break, it is at the hosel, however, that is after several months of playing. The curve is perfect for my liking. The squared toe allows for good toe drag capability while also providing some nice lift for wrist and slap shots. From: #26, California
Comments: I've broke 2 now within 3 days of play on each of them. The blade (bottom surface) itself holds up well, but the shaft of the replacement blade breaks where it meets the stick shaft. Puck feel is good. Blade durability seems solid. Weight is ok... you know you're sacrificing lightweight for durability when you buy these. Shaft (not sure what the actual term is) of the blade is awful (at least for the 2 I've used) From: Rocky, FL
Comments: This blade is really nice looking, but has no durability. I play intermediate level roller hockey on that "soft concrete" type of surface, and this blade shattered the first or second time I used it. Not even on a hard shot. I was annoyed considering I had JUST bought it. I definitely do not recommend buying this blade if you play anything other that a VERY beginner league. It just won't last.
