Comments: I'm new to roller derby and decided to buy these skates and am thrilled that I did. They're comfortable and have been great to learn skills on. As the other review mentioned, the tongue is a little hard on your shin, but skipping the top hole was an easy fix. Make sure to buy a toe guard to protect these puppies. The top layer of leather was gone after my first boot camp. I highly recommend these skates.

Comments: I bought these skates after buying an expensive pair of a different brand. I am new to skating and these skates are comfy and give you the stability you need as a beginner. I wish I would have just purchased these skates in the first place. The tongue of the boot is very padded and held in place by elastic on each side which took a minute to get used to but now I think that design is brilliant! The tongue of the boot sits on the front of your ankle so if this bothers you just skip the top holes when lacing your skates and problem solved!
