Overview

The Tour Code 1.one Padded Shirt is designed for highly competitive roller hockey games and provides excellent coverage and protection to the upper body. Compress-molded EVA foam guards the sternum and heart, providing top-level impact protection to a vital area of the body while perforated foams extend coverage to key areas so players can battle with confidence and speed.

Tour did a wonderful job ensuring the protection hugs the body for a low profile fit and that it moves seamlessly with every deke and dangle. Its 4-way stretch offers a compression fit that stays locked on the body while strategic venting zones give you much-needed breathability for intense gameplay.

Great alternative to shoulder padsComfy material, not too tight fitting, great alternative to shoulder pads for beer league.

RecommendedI haven't really put it to the test yet (maybe 5-6 games) but if you are a roller hockey player like myself, who never wore upper body protection other than elbow pads and a helmet, this shirt will take a little bit of an adjustment at first. If it's your first time wearing one of these (like myself) you will run a little hot at first but nothing too drastic. Ultimately however, it's not too intrusive in my movements on the rink and that was my main concern. I would recommend this product.

Great shirtGreat shirt with adequate protection. It does breath well but it can get a little warm. Materials feel great, I wear this right on my skin and it's very soft. It also bends and moves well. Does not restrict movement.

ProtectiveNice alternative to traditional shoulder pads. I don't need the big, bulky shoulder caps, yet I like to have some protection. Much more comfortable to wear too.

Sweaty and longThe shirt is too long and I sweat more in it than either shoulder pads or an athletic shirt. I'll still wear it because it protects better than the shirt and it is less bulky than shoulder pads. I haven't taken a puck yet to know how well it does it's core purpose.
