This style suits players who thrive on generation strong, top end speed through longer and forceful strides. They come with a stiffer boot that efficiently transfers energy into the rink for maximum power with every stride.Acceleration-Focused Playing Style
For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Triple 8 Bumsaver 2 Padded Shorts are 33% slimmer than the former Bumsavers with articulated and non-removable padding that saves your bottom! They use dual-density foam with softer foam on the inside and denser foam on the outside to disperse the energy from impact. Their unique Dual Zone Foam also makes them feel super comfy while you're sitting in them because it's basically built-in cushions.
They upgraded the design of the foam to cover your tailbone, sit bones, and hips thoroughly without as many gaps. They are super smooth and flexible so that you can move around freely. The biker-length shorts are also fully opaque which may be our favorite upgrade because now anyone can wear them without any pants over, although you can if you'd like to.

You can use a soft measuring tape or something like a string or shoelace that can be measured after the fact. Using your waist measurement, use the table below to find your corresponding Bumsaver size. If your measurements are in-between the sizes shown or you're simply in doubt, we recommend sizing up to the larger size. |
