Specifications

3D Printed

A 3D-printed design with optimized geometries provides superior breathability and elite-level protection. It offers an extremely lightweight construction and does not retain sweat or moisture like traditional tongues. It has a firm center to prevent lacebite while soft edges ensure a contouring fit.

NOTE: Do not bake your skates with the 3D skate tongue attached to your boot. Remove the tongue prior to heating the skate and replace the tongue after it's been removed from the oven.

Cat 9X4
Featured on the Catalyst 9X4 Ice Skates, it boasts an asymmetrical design and layered with multi-density foam for premium comfort and support. A built-in T-Guard delivers enhanced protection against impacts like slashes or blocked shots while at the same time helping to reduce unwanted lace bite.

Standard Cat 9
Featured on the Catalyst 9 Ice Skates, this tongue is constructed with multi-density foam, a modern design, and a lightweight T-guard for incredible comfort and impact absorption so players can skate confidently.

Felt Cat 7/5
Designed with a traditional black felt, this highly comfortable tongue provides a great range of motion while a reinforcing T-guard insert ensures great protection to the top of the foot.

Thin TF9
Utilizing a low profile, this tongue increases internal volume and provides a stiff, contouring design. The T-Guard insert then provides additional protection against impacts and lace bite while also giving players great weight savings too. This is the tongue that comes on the True TF9 Ice and Roller Skates.

Standard TF Pro
Built for comfort, support, and a lightweight design, this tongue is constructed with multi-density foam and is True's most popular tongue. An added T-Guard insert increases protection against impact while also helping to prevent lace bite.

Felt TF7
This is the tongue that comes on the TF7 Ice and Roller Skates, which provides players with a classic fit and enhanced comfort.

A little offI don’t know how to describe it. They’re slightly too wide, the upward curve in them isn’t quite enough, yet the horizontal curve is not enough. The pad in the front is a very thin pad, with a piece of hard plastic underneath. This all makes it feel very much thicker. Maybe I’ll like it more as they break in, and if so I’ll update the review.
