Comments: After getting the right size they are great and fit well. Haven't gotten on the ice yet but they're comfortable From: Tyler, Fort Wayne, IN, 10/26/20
Comments: Check out the TF Series if you're interested in the one-piece boot and the custom molding properties found in the Custom Pro model but don't have issues that prevent you from fitting into a stock size. Because a pair of fully-custom Custom Pro skates aren't in my price range and frankly aren't necessary, I got many of the same features and saved some money with the TF9. Just heat-molded them today and can't wait to try them out. Be sure to follow the instructions for heat-molding that come with the skates or watch the official YouTube videos put out by SVH himself. From: Chris, Detroit, MI, 11/3/20
Comments: The quality of these skates are nice. If they worked for me I would have kept them but I have flat feet from a foot surgery. They have more volume than a Bauer or ccm From: Tom, 12/17/20
Comments: These skates feel amazing straight out of the box. I tried them on and they are so comfortable without baking (I did end up baking though)I was debating between buying the new version of the Bauer Vapors which I've currently skated for the last 4+ years and these. I am definitely happy with my purchase. I feel like they're super protective and very comfortable. And it's a great bonus that this is their 'top' skate and it's ~300$ less than Bauer/CCMs top skate. It absolutely just as good quality. Also - they are so confident that you get to bake/sharpen/skate in them for 30 days and if you don't like them you can send them back. So its really risk free. Which I've never seen for any brand before. I have about 3 days left before my 30 day trial is up, and I've probably skated 6-8 times in them so far and I definitely will NOT be sending them back. As far as fit they're pretty standard skate sizing. I wear 11.5 in normal shoes. So I bought size 10 in these skates and they're perfect. Highly recommend these skates! Comments: I'd heard great things about the True TF9 skates so I decided to give them a try. They look great coming out of the box, but unfortunately the materials and feel of the skate were less impressive. They have a hard plastic feel to them that reminded me of cheap rental skates. When I put them on for the first time, the hard edges really dug in around the ankle. At this price point I expected the comfort of a good shoe but it just wasn't there. I think the movable tongue is a good concept, but the execution on this skate isn't quite there, as you can hear the Velcro pulling when putting the skates on/off and even just walking around. I didn't bother baking them, and instead exchanged them for Graf PK7900, which are amazing. From: Frank, Ohio, 3/21/21
Comments: Five Stars. Build Quality: 10/10; Sturdy, high quality, good finish. I know it will last me a long time. Bang for buck: 8/10; Don't get me wrong, they're an amazing value for the price, but it could be better. Compared to other companies it's still great. Comfort: 10/10; They were lose around the ankles, but after a nice bake and fitting to fit like a glove with the necessary wiggle room that we need for the best maneuverability. Design: 10/10; They take some getting used to, lots of it compared to older skates I have gone through. The arch is rather strange, but once you get used to it you will have much more power in your stride especially when going backwards. Weight: The senior size weighs just under 904 grams, which in comparison to an average shoe being 1200 grams, that is straight up outstanding. Final thoughts: get them.
