The Warrior Alpha LX3 Gloves offer next-level protection, comfort, and feel for the highly competitive player, providing elite-level performance without the elite-level price tag. If you're about to take a slash or absorb a blocked shot, Duo-Lam and Space Shield 2.0 will take care of that impact energy. This multi-layered protection package helps minimize impact, and the redesigned Space Shield 2.0 deflects energy where it matters most, the backhand.
From the very first shift, the LX3 delivers a broken-in fit, contributed by Warrior's Buttersoft Feel. By the combination of stretch gussets, flexible backhand, and AxyFlex two-piece thumb, the LX3 flexes naturally with the shape of your hand. Gripping your stick feels secure and comfortable with the AX suede palm, designed with an added overlay for extra durability and stick control.

Super Plush feel but hotI tried these gloves alongside the CCM XF to see which one I liked better. I went as far as to have one glove on one hand and the other on the other hand. I really like the fit and feel of the Warriors. The "buttery feel" as they call it, is exactly that it's just so smooth and silky. It makes it feel like such a higher quality than the standard material the other glove brands use. I also noticed the CCM seemed a couple fingers didn't line up correctly with my finger, meaning when I went to close my hand a couple of the fingers like rolled a bit around my finger and kind of exposed it because the armor from the top had rolled to the side it was super weird. Also, on the CCM you can feel all the seams inside the glove and it really annoyed me to feel those like the socks that have big seams bug my feet. The Warrior are definitely a snug fit, almost too snug. It felt at first like they were actively squeezing my hand and was a little uncomfortable. After just a couple hours with them though it loosened up and now they are snug but not uncomfortable snug. A lot of people don't like the snug feel, but I like the feeling because I can trust they aren't going to just fall off. The CCM were so loose if I shook my hand they would just come off, whereas these I have to actively pull them off. I'm in lowly beer league I don't need to be able to fling my gloves off to fight so I'm not worried about getting them off quickly like that lol.
The Con, these are super hot. When I compared these to the CCM XF (not the pro because I was comparing like to like of the lines) the CCM were NOTICEABLY cooler. Almost to the point of too much so. My fingers started to get cold because it had holes in the fingers also to let air in. The warrior was very hot and that hand was three times as sweaty as the hand the CCM was on. I ended up buying the Warrior Alpha LX3 Pro for that reason because it has extra ventilation hoping it would be a happy medium. I was hoping it was cooler than the non Pro but not as cold as the CCM. The LX3 Pro is still very hot. I didn't try the LX3 Pro vs non Pro side by side so I can't say if it's any cooler at all but I feel like it's at least a little cooler but it's still very hot.
That being said I'm still very happy with the Warrior I like so many things about it better than the CCM XF and if I had to make the choice again I would go with the LX3 or the LX3 Pro again over CCM.
