The Pilot Falcon Plus NTS Plate is a variation on Atom's signature Falcon Plate that sees the toe stop and housing removed entirely. Many quad skating disciplines outside of roller derby find the toe stop extraneous and bothersome as they're rarely, if ever, used. Speed skaters prefer the added weight savings of NTS plates, dance skaters will usually just pop plugs in any housing they have, and advanced park skaters often find them cumbersome on rails and copings as they stall and grind. The Plus model of the Falcon sees the trucks upgraded to more reliable two-piece forged aluminum trucks with adjustable pivots and the kingpin nut stepped up to a micro-adjustable one.
