The Pilot Viper Nylon Plate is an affordable, entry-level nylon plate with high quality components that are adjustable and replaceable. The Viper's baseplate is constructed using a DuPont nylon composition called Base-Zytel, which is a strong, highly resistant plastic that has fiberglass reinforcements that increase rigidity. That, in turn, increases the plate's durability and responsiveness. Steel kingpins sit at 16 degrees, which emphasizes maneuverability more than the traditional 5 and 10-degree plates. Plus - if you want to upgrade - Pilot's universal mounting system lets you put any other Pilot Plate on the same boot without drilling new holes!
