Inline Speed Skates

Inline Speed (or Race) Boots are intended for advanced level skaters that will benefit most from their high-end performance features. A lower cut profile in the ankle is much lower than a recreational or cross-training boot. This allows for a greater range of motion to gain more of a edge on the wheels and increase power. Inline race boots are most often not comfortable out of the box, but are stiff and most often require heat-molding to obtain a correct, comfortable fit. High-tech resins and carbon material are often used to maximize strength and stiffness while reducing weight.

IMPORTANT SIZING INFO: Not true to size and are unisex (for use by both men & women). A foot measurement with reference to the brand specific size chart is needed to best determine size. The manufacturer recommended fit will be snug to enhanced performance. Round up to the next largest size if wishing to have room at the toe.

Inline Speed Skates, Race Skates and Boots are meant for skilled skaters. Low cut boots allow for greater range of motion to gain an edge on the wheels, but offer less support than traditional inline skates.

Large wheels and high-performance features combine to create great speeds. The boots are snug and stiff to capture as much power transfer as possible (heat molding most often required).
