This profile is much lower than a recreational or cross-training inline skate and feels a lot different if not having skated before. This allows for more range of motion and the ability to get more on the edges of the wheels.

Inline Speed (or Race) Boots are intended for advanced level skaters that will benefit most from their high-end performance features. Inline race boots are most often not comfortable out of the box, but are stiff and most often require heat-molding to obtain a correct, comfortable fit. High-tech resins and carbon material are often used to maximize strength and stiffness while reducing weight.
