The PowerDyne Arius Platinum is performance redesigned. Core design elements like the Progressive Lateral Movement technology and butterfly cushions remain, while many aspects have received upgrades. Split Butterfly Cushions now slide into place in the updated winged truck design and no longer require stabilization hardware. The toe stop set screw has moved forward on the plate for added security while the Arius' striking red finish has made way for platinum gold.
Arius trucks are compact and may rub some wheels (e.g. concave-backed outdoors). Axle washers are a quick and easy fix!

Previous Feedback
Comments: I've skated these for about two years now and they are absolutely amazing plates. I play derby and also rink/jam skate and I've never felt more agile and mobile on another style of plate than these. Now for the bad points. I've found a few sets of wheels that are slightly recessed in the back that won't fit on these plates because of the trucks design. Mota Freedom outdoor wheels and Faster wheels, both didn't fit. In one year I went through 3 sets of cushions and 2 sets of axis pins and sleeves, to the tune of over $120 in maintenance. I've thought about replacing them with a traditional style plate but I'm not sure I could go back

Comments: 'm a male derby player and ref, 6' 200 lbs. I love these plates!! Very very happy with them. I use the Orange cushions and get an amazing response from them, quick turns and a very comfortable plow. They're super light weight and very easy to change out the cushions when needed.

Comments: I LOVE these plates. They are incredibly responsive and smooth. The force that it takes to rock your boot left and right is perfectly even all the way through the arc which makes me feel very confident while jam skating. And when you come out of a lean (bring your leg back to perpendicular with the floor) the wheels come back to center INSTANTLY with no lag time like with a kingpin. They come with a variety of cushions from soft to stiff and I've tried them all. For me (at 174lbs) the split Red/Green cushion combination is heaven.

Comments: I will NEVER go back to a traditional plate after this Arius plate. The stability and maneuverability is insane. 15/10 recommended.
