Overview

The Powerslide Phuzion 80 Skates - Mercury is well-made for fitness enthusiasts to enjoy comfort and performance.  They are easy enough for a beginner to skate, but with components to handle intense workouts.

The Powerslide Phuzion 80 Mercury Skates have a lightweight glass-fiber reinforced plastic shells with flexible cuffs. This provides both support and agility.  The uppers are made from high-grade nubuck and PU leather to be comfortable and durable, but limit boot stretch to capture and transfer energy.  Comfort is then enhanced with recall memory fit foam padding.  Trinity Frame Mounting positions feet low to the ground for easy control and stability. Elite Frames are 3D-casted ADC10 aluminum to be strong and responsive. They hold Phuzion 80mm 83A and Wicked ABEC7 Bearings to have them road ready.

Specifications

KEY TECHNOLOGIES
Trinity X Mounting
The combination of the 'along' mounting block of the boot with the 'across' mounting slot of the frame. This allows for frame adjustment both laterally (7mm) and front to back (8mm) to individual preference and/or to correct ankles from wanting to roll (pronation/supination). Trinity frames mount at three points with two off-set winged mounts under the ball of the foot that creates a channel for the wheels to lower the skate, adding stability and power at push-off.
HABS Height Adjustable Brake System
An easy and secure brake that allows for the brake pad to adjust up and down to prolong the life of the rubber. A rear axle that is threaded at both ends allows for the installation and removal of the brake with four outer screws that eliminate having to remove the axle or wheel.

Nice but too narrowThese skates are well-made, and use materials that are very solid and feel quite durable. I was rather impressed when I first took them out of the box, but when I tried them on, I found them to be way too narrow, even in a half-size above my usual medium-width sneaker size. This appears to be a Phuzion tendancy in general, as I found the same to be true with the Argon. Unfortunately, that ruled these out for me, but they might work if you have very narrow feet.
