Built for elite speed skaters Bont Zeus NTS Roller Skate Plates use the latest materials and components to provide the perfect action for high level speed. The baseplate is 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum and has been polished three times over to give it a beautiful finish that is befitting of a world-class chassis. The durable steel kingpins are set at 7˚, which is a stable and reliable action that emphasizes power and efficiency in every stride. The action nut is the same high quality aluminum found in the baseplate, and has a grub screw that allows for micro-adjustments of the cushions and an additional layer of security to ensure everything stays put.
Of course, the lack of a toe stop or toe stop housing means Bont can really keep the weight down on this amazing plate. Speed skaters are usually seeking every opportunity to shed ounces, and the Zeus' design certainly achieves that goal. Besides tracking weight, speed skaters and racers typically go through a lot of wheel changes, and many are on the spot, in the heat of the moment, where every second counts. Enter Bont's quick-release clip axles, which were carefully designed and detailed to allow for ultra-quick wheel changes no matter the time or place. The plate's profile allows for quad wheels up to 70mm in diameter.
